As the lead developer for 1Checkout, I spearheaded the development of the platform, resulting in a user conversion rate increase of over 20%. My core technical contributions included integrating multiple major payment gateways like Razorpay and PhonePe, and building key features such as partial COD, advanced shipping controls, and dynamic blacklisting to reduce cart abandonment.

Beyond implementation, I was instrumental in shaping the product's direction by collaborating with cross-functional teams on UX improvements and engaging directly with merchants to ensure our features met their needs. I also maintained high system performance through rigorous code optimization and demonstrated effective crisis management by successfully navigating and resolving critical production failures.

I led the end-to-end design and implementation of a comprehensive source-to-pay system, taking full ownership of the backend by developing over 90% of its modules. My work covered everything from negotiation and purchase orders to invoicing and quality control, all while adhering to clean code principles to ensure a high-quality and modular codebase.
